Welcome to Supreme Striking Martial Arts. These Terms of Service ("Terms") govern your use of our website, facility, classes, and services (collectively, the "Services").
By registering for a membership, purchasing a drop-in pass, or participating in any classes at Supreme Striking Martial Arts, you agree to be bound by these Terms. If you do not agree with any part of these Terms, please do not use our Services.
1. Acceptance of Terms
By accessing or using our facility located in Pomona, California, or our website, you agree to these Terms. If you are accepting these Terms on behalf of a minor (under the age of 18), you represent that you are their parent or legal guardian and have the authority to bind them to these Terms.
2. Assumption of Risk and Waiver of Liability
Martial arts training, including Muay Thai, Kickboxing, and Boxing, is a high-intensity, physical activity that involves inherent risks.
Physical Readiness: By participating, you confirm that you are in good health and do not suffer from any physical limitations that would prevent your safe participation.
Inherent Risks: You acknowledge that training involves a risk of minor and severe injury.
Waiver: By participating, you voluntarily assume all risks associated with training and agree to release Supreme Striking Martial Arts, its owners, instructors, and employees from any liability for injuries, damages, or loss of property sustained on the premises. (Note: All members will also be required to sign a formal physical liability waiver prior to their first class).
3. Memberships, Billing, and Cancellations
We offer various membership tiers, drop-in rates, and promotional packages.
Payment: All payments for memberships, drop-in fees, and merchandise are due at the time of purchase. Monthly memberships are billed on an automatic, recurring basis via our third-party payment processor.
Cancellations: If you wish to cancel your monthly recurring membership, you must provide written notice via email ([email protected]) at least 30 days prior to your next billing cycle.
Refunds: All membership fees, drop-in fees, and merchandise sales are non-refundable. Exceptions are made solely at the discretion of gym management.
Holds/Freezes: Memberships may be placed on hold for medical reasons or extended travel with advanced written notice, subject to approval by management.
4. Gym Code of Conduct
We are committed to building confidence, self-belief, and a supportive community. To maintain a safe and respectful environment, all members must adhere to the following rules:
Respect: Show absolute respect to coaches, staff, and training partners at all times. Egos are left off the mats.
Hygiene: Maintain strict personal hygiene. Clean training gear, trimmed nails, and appropriate athletic wear are mandatory.
Safety First: Control your power during sparring and partner drills. Intentionally attempting to injure a training partner is grounds for immediate dismissal.
Right to Refuse Service: We reserve the right to suspend or terminate the membership of anyone who violates this Code of Conduct, engages in unsafe practices, or disrupts the gym environment, without a refund.
5. Classes and Scheduling
Schedule Changes: We reserve the right to modify the class schedule, instructor assignments, or gym hours at any time. We will make every effort to notify members of changes in advance.
Punctuality: Please arrive early or on time for classes. Instructors reserve the right to turn away latecomers to ensure class flows smoothly and members are properly warmed up.
6. Minors and Children's Classes
We proudly offer youth programs to build resilience and strength in younger generations.
A parent or legal guardian must sign all waivers and agreements for students under the age of 18.
Parents or guardians are expected to drop off and pick up minors promptly and ensure they follow the Code of Conduct.
7. Media and Photo Release
We love celebrating the martial mastery of our students! By attending classes, you grant Supreme Striking Martial Arts the right to take photographs and record video of you during training. You agree that these materials may be used for promotional purposes, including social media, website content, and advertising, without compensation. (If you wish to opt-out, please inform us in writing).
8. Governing Law
These Terms shall be governed by and construed in accordance with the laws of the State of California, without regard to its conflict of law provisions. Any legal action or proceeding arising out of or related to these Terms shall be brought exclusively in the state or federal courts located in or near Los Angeles County, California.
9. Changes to These Terms
We reserve the right to modify these Terms at any time. We will notify members of any significant changes via email or by posting a notice in the gym. Your continued use of the gym following any changes indicates your acceptance of the new Terms.
